Most mornings begin the same…let the dogs outside, open up all the curtains to let the sunshine in, grab a big cup of coffee and open the laptop. While enjoying my first cup of heaven, I search the Internet for new and glorious coastal decor, cottages, and beachy items. I was so excited when I recently stumbled upon coastal cottages in England that were for rent. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always had a yearning to visit England especially while the English Gardens begin blooming in spring. These coastal cottages really got my yearning to visit into high gear!
Seriously, what could be a better than a vacation (or holiday, as the English say) than staying in an authentic cottage? Self catering cottage accommodations are available to rent around Britain and the locations can vary from cities to remote country areas and of course, some are near the sea.
There were well over one thousand rentals listed; however I selected a few of my favorites to share. Some of the cottages only had exterior photographs available but I’m sure they will still pique your interest! I’m a country girl and all about the sea so I didn’t list any cottages in the city.
