I love cake, do you? White cake with raspberry filling is my favorite with LOTS of frosting. David says I’m so sweet because of all the sweet treats that I love to eat ;o)
I also love watching Food Network (when DIY or HGTV isn’t on!) and the cake shows where they have to create outrageous designs. These people are true artists and I’m in awe of their work. Seashells, starfish and coral are very popular embellishments to style your wedding, anniversary and birthday cakes with these days and here are some fabulous examples. Enjoy!

Hi Marie – Thanks for sharing these beautiful, edible creations! I always say with beautiful cakes that the only drawback is that they almost look too beautiful to eat! I feel like I’m ruining an artwork!
Happy Seaside Sunday!

PS-Be glad you switched to wordpress-I have so many blogger.com problems now it’s ridiculous and of course the tech people don’t respond!!!
Best Wishes!

Lovely cakes but I can’t get my head around cakes with seashells. Perhaps it’s just me.

I love the ocean and those kids.
Wow – fantastic cake designs!
If I were to order a cake made for me, I’d probably choose the lighthouse with a postmark just because I love everything related to post ;) The others are oh-so-lovely!!
Very hard to pick my favorite. I love them all…too beautiful to eat. Have a great weekend!!
They are all beautiful creations, but the L.B.I. design “really takes the cake”!
