   Those photos really made me long for a summer vacation! The rocking chairs on the beach are my favorite! I can’t think of anything more peaceful than sitting there looking out over the water and feeling those ocean breezes! Beautiful post!

   I love all your summer ideas. I would add the sounds of summer…kids playing, birds singing, and frogs ribbiting…lol…I can’t quite think what to call the sound frogs make, but I like it!

   Summer…temperature-wise, it’s almost year-round. But time-wise, I seem to change my pace mid-May…everything slows down…I spend a lot of time in the pool running in the water and floating. I also sit on the patio in my favorite spot, watching and listening to the birds, reading, and napping. That’s my favorite time of day…And when the neighbor’s parrots start squawking, it sounds like a tropical rain forest. It’s heavenly! When things get too crazy, I head to the beach…all I even have to do is LOOK at the water, and I am calm. (Thank goodness it’s only 5 miles away!)

    Well, it looks at though you posted pics of many of my favorite summer things, right down to the pink lemonade. I’ll add a picnic basket, cold watermelon and shade. Yep, I do love to find a nice shady spot to spread out my blanket.
