Wouldn’t it be lovely to have your perfect beach cottage custom built for you? Well, maybe you are one of the ones that have such a cottage – lucky you!!
If I had the chance to have a dream cottage built, this Cottage House Plan would certainly be considered. I don’t know if I would change a thing about the exterior as it comes with all the architectural elements which I love…window boxes, decorative shingles and a nice deck for viewing the water from.
Any white kitchen with some bead board accents are on my list of likes as well as a nice big island for some casual dining.
Open floor plans are a favorite of mine; however a cozy nook here and there are certainly nice to have. I’d probably decorate in a similar color palette but not quite so “country” – the valances aren’t really my style; however the beautiful windows are divine!
“The daylight basement on this vacation home plan, which is designed for a sloping lot, offers the opportunity for expansion. A covered porch off the living area allows easy indoor-outdoor entertaining. Downstairs, a four-fixture bath can be accessed from either the hall or through the walk-in closet of the bedroom on this floor. The kitchen is big enough to house a cook top island with a circular eating bar.”
