Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse

{Travel & Leisure} Photo Tour of Bass Harbor, Maine

Terri Morse is a blogger, writer and photographer who I had the pleasure of meeting this year through Pink Saturday, a weekly blog hop we both participate in.   Terri is truly talented in everything she does and when she held a contest on her blog, Comfort Cottage, I won (thank you again, Terri!) and I’ve been a dedicated reader of her blog ever since.

Terri recently went camping in the village of  Bass Harbor, Maine and as you can see, she captured some inspirational photographs of this area. I’ve always wanted to visit this region of the country and NOW I really want to after seeing the photos of the lighthouse, local beach cottages and charming museum.  Thank you to Terri for sharing these snapshots of her trip with us!

We camped at our favorite hideaway in Bass Harbor.  It’s a lovely, working harbor town off of the beaten path.  Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse is just a mile’s walk down the road to the waterfront.  I love to climb out on the rocks and lose myself in the sound of the sea.

Visit Terri at Comfort Cottage for all the details of her trip as well as even more photographs.

Just stunning photos my favorite are the ones taken away from the home. It lets us see just what a fantastic piece of property this home sits on! I could spend hours there! What a view! Just jaw dropping!
