Shabby Beachy Chic… what do those three words mean to you? We think we found the perfect photo inspiration for those words and it comes from our friend, Cheryl of Beachcomber in Sydney, Australia. Cheryl grew up on the coast and the time that she has spent hanging out on the beach, swimming and sailing has instilled in her a love of the relaxed beach house style. Her idea of home is lots of white, blue and white stripes, weathered, rustic, vintage, recycled, shells and driftwood.
“I like the look and character of old furniture and homes. Most of our home has been furnished and decorated for next to nothing from ebay, side of the road finds and garage sales.” ~ Cheryl, Beachcomber
Cheryl’s cottage makes us want to sit right down and relax for a while…it’s everything a beach cottage with beachy-chic style should offer.
Incorporating aqua blues, pinks and fresh white daisies have given new life to this dresser. Perfect for Springtime, which is around the corner in Australia!
