We are so excited to give our latest Coastal Craft a try! It is an easy and inexpensive lighthouse candle holder project which was recently shared on Burton Avenue’s blog. Angie was searching for some beach-themed items to display and found these lighthouses on a site….BUT….they were almost $70.00 a piece! While brainstorming during breakfast she decided to create her own lighthouses by using cereal boxes – yes, that’s right – cereal boxes! You won’t believe the amazing and beautiful results she achieved.
Here is a photo of the inspiration for these lovely candle holders; which we KNOW you will want to make!
Angie explained, “I thought I would try to create my own. I must have been eating breakfast while thinking about these because I ended up making them out of a cereal box! I started with a sheet of paper to figure out the shape I wanted and I then used that as a template. I cut out two cones and two circles and painted them all white.”
