I love words…I don’t know why, but I’ve always been fond of books, playing word games and words or letters framed as art.
I recently shared some adorable seashell tags that I purchased from our friends at Sea Shells by Sea Shore with you…well, I think I’ve got a new addiction – TAGS! When I stopped by to visit Kerrie at sea cottage recently, she had her new word tags available for sale in her store. Words printed on tags…come on, there was no way for me to resist, especially since they were all beachy words like Fog, Sea, Calm, Coast, Tide and more!
Do you remember those Autumn Candle Holders that Liz & I made last week? We also made some beachy candle holders too. We cleaned out and re-used some old candle jars and filled them with dried split peas, black beans and tiny seashells. A tea light candle sits on top. We strung a tag on each jar with jute….cute, huh?
It’s so much fun displaying things on my crystal candlestick/pillar candle holders. I’ve had them for years (I believe they were from Costco) and I use them every season during the year. An extra one is displaying a tiny pumpkin on it in the den right now. Oops, back to this little project….
Dig around your cupboard for things you can use for layering and old glass jars of any kind will work! Have fun using tags to decorate bottles, picture frames or whatever – we’re having a lot of fun with our tags…and you won’t believe how we’re planning to use Kerrie’s tags for Christmas this year!

I have not been feeling well this week and still resting but I will definetly be mentioning this on my FB page! I just added some new tag sets in my shop in the small size only with the words…sea, tide, calm, and fog.
Ooh they look so coastal beautiful! Thank you for letting me know. I haven’t been feeling well and needing to rest so I haven’t been on my computer. Thank you Maria for sharing my tags with everyone by being so creative!
Hope you feel better soon, Kerrie! xoxo
I love these…, and already have them in a draft post. Will definitely include how you use them!! You had some tags as napkin rings too…, I’ll have to find them too!!
Thanks so much, Maya!
Great idea! So happy you found another use for the tags! Love the words and look you went with. Beautiful.
