• {Inspired by Nature} Maritime Decorating Ideas from Germany

Posted on October 7, 2011 by in Beach Cottage Decor, Inspired by Nature

One of the joys of the Internet is how it makes the world so much smaller. For instance, we found it very interesting to see how Germany decorates with a maritime (as we call nautical, coastal) style. The style is very organic, which we love. Using driftwood pieces collected from the shore to decorate with is one of our all-time favorite things to do in this beach cottage.

It really just goes to show that we aren’t as different as some would like us to believe.  Beautiful coastal style is beautiful…no matter where you reside. Enjoy!
