New Slipcovers for Beach Cottage Style
Posted on November 1, 2011 by Sally Lee by the Sea in Beach Cottage DecorThey’ve been ordered! I’m so excited…we ordered some SureFit slipcovers for our green sofa and loveseat. We decided on the Cotton Duck fabric which is pure cotton, exceptionally durable and machine washable for easy care. With three dogs and a cat wash-ability was a BIG factor. The slipcover offers a straight front skirt with tailored arms.
Here’s a photo of the sofa which will be covered. There is nothing wrong with the sofa at all; just wanting to lightened and brighten it for a more beach cottage look (you know what I mean).
….and here is the slipcover we decided on. Nothing fancy, just beach cottage wonderful :O)

HHmmmm love it but still not convinced – actually look at the green couch – The base cushion actually extends past the arms however in the ‘covered’ version the base cushion stops before the arms so either the couch has been dramatically modified or it is not the same couch – just my thoughts…
It’s not the same couch – the first couch is ours and the second is an example of the slipcover that we purchased online. Thanks for stopping by, Nathan!
I am still waiting for slip covers that cover a chair and a half and longer ottomans!
