Thank goodness for IKEA, because seriously I don’t know how I could afford enough storage containers for re-doing our kitchen pantry otherwise. Liz popped into the land of IKEA last time she was in Seattle and brought home several armfuls of different size containers. This seriously isn’t enough, but it’s a good start!
Please don’t gaze deeply at the water spots on the lids (blush) but we ran them through the dishwasher to clean them thoroughly before loading them up with granola, flour and such.
By the way, how does one end up with 5 partial bags of flour???
In my quest for organization, I found these ‘Rectangle Vinyl Chalkboard Labels by Bradens Grace‘ on Etsy too. I’m thrilled to stick these on jars and boxes. As a person who often changes her mind, the chalkboard sticker is best. (Yes, I realize I could make something similar myself, however there are only so many hours in the day!) The vinyl is imported from France and the store offers custom labels and beautiful scalloped ones too…check it out for yourself.
…and hopefully my pantry will look something like this when we’re all finished (crossing fingers)!
