Welcome back to the last day of our “A Coastal Summer” week of articles. I thought we’d wrap things up with this divine Beach Tones color palette from our friends at Design-Seeds.com. Our handy-dandy Chip It! application from Sherwin Williams has provided us with the paint/colors needed to create this palette in the real world.
Soft greyish white and sandy hues take you to the seashore when used on your home’s interior walls or floors. Accent your surroundings with shades of blue and throw in a pop of deep red for visual interest. I personally love to use black to “ground” things in my interior designs but any darker shade, such as the polished mahogany hue above, will do the trick.
Let’s give it a try…

Not a fan of red? Why not try a beautiful raspberry and/or shades of pink for accents?

This is probably my favorite personal style — the sand colored walls create instant warmth!

It’s amazing how many different styles can be created by using one basic palette. Depending on your preference, you can create a modern beach home space or a cozy cottage feel. Experiment with colors, fabrics, textures when decorating – you won’t be sorry!
So, which room above is your favorite space?
Have a fabulous weekend.
xoxo
