Beach House Inspiration from Beachcomber

A Coastal Summer: Boatshed Style

I’ve always had a love for the humble boatshed and could see myself living in one .. next to the water, watching the boats go by, listening to the sound of the water.  Painted white with simple furniture , a touch of blue, shells, driftwood & vintage marine things.

These are some images I’ve had in my scrapbook for a long time from the days when I collected pictures from magazines, as well as  some from boatshed chic.  Beth lives in a boatshed on the south coast of New South Wales and collects some interesting finds from thrift shops in her area.  I love her decorating style.

About Cheryl Bow of Beachcomber

Located in Sydney, Australia, Cheryl brings her perspective on the coastal lifestyle from an Aussie point of view. “Growing up on the coast, hanging out at the beach, swimming and sailing has instilled in me a love of relaxed beach house style – lots of white , blue and white stripes, weathered, rustic, vintage, recycled, shells and driftwood. most of our home has been furnished and decorated for next to nothing from ebay, side of the road finds and garage sales. ”
