Plumeria Flowers in Your Beach House

Something i love about summer is the variety of frangipanis (plumeria) I see all around Sydney. All shades of pink, coral, red, yellow and white.. they have been overdone in the past but I still love them in the garden and bringing some inside in summer.

It seems it was the fashion to plant a frangipani at the front of a house in the early 1900’s.  Many federation homes in our area have them near the entry.  The divine scent reminds me of happy times at my grandmother’s house when we were kids.  A small branch of frangipanis from our garden has added happiness & life to our living area.

What flowers make you happy? enjoy your week! :)

Love your site. I recently bought a tin full of the capiz shells and was wondering what to do with them. Your mobile would be perfect. Thanks for the ideas.
