The more Nantucket home tours that we view, the more we want to visit this region filled with serenity. Boston Magazine recently featured a beach home which is an escape and retreat for the owner’s throughout the year. Although relatively new, the home boasts exposed studs and rough-hewn oak rafters which provide an old beach cottage feel.
The owner wanted a contemporary, upscale yet beachy and comfortable interior. With a family of four, the finishes and fabrics had to hold up! Just walk through the living room doors (shown above) and beyond the lawn is the ocean.
